Il y a 5 ans, Carl Johnson (CJ) s'est enfui des pressions de la vie à Los Santos, San Andreas ... une ville qui se déchire avec les guerres entres les gangs, la drogue et la corruption. Où les vedettes et les millionaires font leur possible pour éviter les dealers et les gangbangers

 

Maintenant, c'est le début des années 90, Carl a besoin d'aller à la maison. Sa mère a été tué, sa familly s'est dicimé et ses amis d'enfance se dirigent tous vers la catastrophe.

 

Pendant son retour vers son quatier, quelques policiers l'arrête pour homicide (Coup monté je crois). CJ est forcé a voyagé à travers tout l'État de San Andreas pour sauver sa famille et prendre le controle des rues
